Rev. Horse standing left in front of a stylized temple. DT 2658. Scheers, Lyon, 856-7. A rare and unusual type. Minor deposits and with a brockage mint error on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.



The depiction of a horse in a temple illustrates the great importance that horses held among the Celtic warrior elite.
